The JKCET (Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test) is conducted by the JAKBOPEE (J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examinations) for admission to various undergraduate professional courses.

JKCET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for JKCET are as follows:

The Applicants should be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir.
The Applicants should score a minimum of 50% marks in their 12th or 10+2 from a recognized university or board (40% for candidates belonging to the reserved category).
For the engineering courses, the subject combination of the applicant should be PCM (Physics, chemistry, Mathematics) and English at the 10+2 level.
For BDS, MBBS, BAMS/BUMS, Physiotherapy courses, the subject combination of the applicant should be PCB (Physics, chemistry, Biology) and English at the 10+2 level.
The applicants who are appearing for their 10+2 or 12th examination are also eligible to apply JKCET.
Those candidates belonging to P&B and TFW don’t come under the reserved category.
There are age requirements for applicants applying for BDS, MBBS, BUMS and BAMS courses, and should be minimum of 17 years of age.
